choosing the Lonsdale House, Bowness on Windermere, for your Lake District break, we hope to make
your stay comfortable and memorable.
The Lonsdale was originally
built in Bowness in 1851 as a private gentleman's residence, it first became a
guest house in 1973. We acquired the House in the winter of 2003 and
immediately set about a £1/4 million refurbishment and upgrade.
We believe the quality of
accommodation and facilities is the finest to be found from any guest
house or bed and breakfast in the Lake District, we feel sure you will agree.
The information in this
website is provided to assist you in making the most of the facilities
available, if there is any more we can do to make your stay more
