We had a fantastic stay. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and breakfast was wonderful. Andrew and his staff were the most genuinely welcoming and pleasant people we have stayed with. I have recommended it to everyone I have spoken to since getting back. Thank you Anna, Norah and Niamh (3)

We were very impressed with our stay at the Lonsdale. On arrival we were informed by Andrew that we had been upgraded to the luxury suite! Hotel is beautiful, well presented and quiet. All the staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious too! We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the Lakes.

Just returned from a three night stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooms were immaculate and breakfast was super. Andrew and the other staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definately return to this hotel in the future and would recommend it to anyone going to the Lakes.

Fantastic, warm & friendly welcome for our whole family. The Celebration Package was great and exactly as described. We had a nice, comfortable and spacious room. The hotel is in a beautiful location with plenty to do for the whole family and loads of choice for eating out without having to go too far. Andrew and staff were brilliant and so was the breakfast!! We couldn't think of anywhere better to have spent our wedding anniversary, everything was perfect for us. We'd love to go back to Lonsdale if we get the opportunity. We can guarantee you will not stay any where better, within 100 miles. The hotel is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The staff are a credit to Andrew (the owner) who together made us feel like royalty! Close to great restaurants and some fabulous scenery. We will definitely be returning. Thanks so much. Andy & Ian

Absolutely brilliant. The room was immaculate, and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was superb, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. As for the location; it could not have been more perfect. At least a dozen wonderful restaurants well within walking distance, without sacraficing the quaint atmosphere any visitor longs for from their Lake District visit. I hope to return, and would recommend it to anyone looking for quality accomodation.

Had a wonderful stay at the end of May this year. Andrew is the most welcoming host and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Accomodation great - wonderful breakfast!
