We stayed here on Monday 15th June. Fantastic four poster room. Fantastic host and staff. Lovely breakfast. Wished we could have stayed another night, but all rooms full. Testament to the quality. Thank you for a lovely stay. Will recommend to anyone.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights where the service was fantastic and well worth every penny. Andrew and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located within Bowness with just a short walk to the shops and the lake. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Lonsdale. The hotel weas great, situated in a good place close to restaurants and the lake. The staff were really friendly too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Lonsdale to friends and family.

Thanks to owner and every staff of Lonsdale hotel. We had a lot of wonderful experience in UK.
Especially lake district is the most memorable place because of its beautiful scenery, lovely hotel, nice breakfast and your hospitality.
Hotel room is very comfortable and clean. I would like to stay at Lonsdale hotel once again if I have a chance to go to Windermere.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone I know. The service is fantastic,very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The room was lovely and the four poster bed was very comfortable. There were lovely little touches like a small decanter of sherry and a little bowl of sweets as well as the usual hospitality tray in the room. The breakfast was very good and not a long wait to be served. The location is very good as its just a short walk down to the village and the lake. There is also a little cinema and of course the stunning views. When I next go the lakes it will definitely be the Lonsdale House Hotel we will stay at. Thanks to everyone, especially Andrew, for a lovely stay.

Real cosy warm hotel, breakfast was nice and the bedrooms were gorgeous had a really nice stay. Andrew is is such a lej je was really nice and the beds were sooo comfy were coming back next year no question. Lej '09

stayed over night at the end of March. we were also met by Andrew who was very pleasant, he showed us to our room which was tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and very clean throughout. The breakfast was extremely filling and very enjoyable. would definately recommend to friends and family and will return soon. Thanks to all the staff who made us feel welcome.

Just returned from a 1 night stay. We were greeted by Andrew who is an excellent host, staff really friendly, breakfast was great, definitely will return, even if its just for the cup of coffee that Andrew promised!!
