A really wonderful stay. Andrew is a great host. We had a fantastic view of the lake, room nice ,clean and welcoming oh!And the Breakfast was good

Had a really comfortable overnight stay which completed our wedding weekend perfectly. Most relaxing hotel, excellent breakfast friendly people will stay again

Stayed 2 nights in the honeymoon suite ( married 40 years). As usual this is a home from home hotel and would be hard to better. Staff and Andrew(owner) ensured that the 2 days was not long enough by their hospitality. Will return again.

We spent 2 nights at the Lonsdale in Oct and would thoroughly reccomend this hotel to famillies or couples. We had a lovely room sleeping 4 which was well appointed and spacious. Great breakfast and nice bar area. Very well located within Bowness. Will definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights on 27th Oct 2008, fantastic staff which nothing is to much trouble, lovely breakfast and the proprieter Andrew is a cracking guy its easy to see why The Lonsdale is so successful.

ARRIVED TO BE GREETED BY SMILING FRIENLY STAFF ,WHICH CONTINUED FOR ALL OF OUR STAY . THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT SO WAS THE REST OF THE FACILITIES .WE WILL BE COMING BACK AGAIN MOST DEFINATLY. THANKS FOR A GREAT STAY . DAVE & VICKIE .

We had a very enjoyable short break at the lovely Lonsdale Hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
