Lonsdale House was built in 1851 as a fine gentleman's residence, it first became a hotel in 1932. The property has recently undergone a £1/4 million refurbishment and upgrade winning the converted UK Accommodation of the Year Award and has consistantly attained a 4 Star Accommodation Standard.
We believe the quality of accommodation and facilities is the finest to be found from any guest house or bed and breakfast in the Lake District, we feel sure you will agree.
